Hi, my name is Kennedy Haskin.  I am the 12-year-old founder and President of Peaceful Minds which is aMental Health Organization. I started this nonprofit organization because I want to raise awareness and help people financially with mental illnesses.

In 2020, one of my uncles lost his battle to mental illnesses. The traumatic event devastated my family and me. We didn't understand the depths of mental health conditions, so I wanted to raise awareness.

 

I want people who have a mental health condition to get the professional assistance they need. Peaceful Minds helps assist anyone who may not be financially equipped to pay their medical bills.

 

The world needs to recognize the severity of mental health conditions. Peaceful Minds is going to help stop the stigma.
